The Most Livable City in the Country

Posted on: July 1, 2013

Over the last few years, the city of Pittsburgh has quickly started to become a new national hotspot for young and thrifty city dwellers. Since early 2012, Salon.com deemed Pittsburgh “the place to be,” National Geographic voted Pittsburgh as one of the top best places to visit, and the Economist Intelligence Unit identified Pittsburgh as the most livable city in the United States. This treasured status as “most livable” was quite possibly the impetus for using our Rustbelt city as the butt of a jealousy fueled joke in season 4 of the cult television series Arrested Development as not a single city in the state of California made the top twenty list of most livable cities in the entire world.  It is certainly an exciting time in Steel City history – for the first time in decades, the permanent population is swelling with artists, musicians, and others seeking the culture of the city. Nationally touring acts are no longer bypassing Pittsburgh in order to perform in our regional sister city, Cleveland, and there has even been recent talk of bringing the NFL draft to the city in the upcoming years.

As more and more Americans flood into our city of bridges, Lobos Management is here to help new residents secure quality apartments in the city’s most desirable neighborhoods. Montrose Manor on Fifth Avenue, for instance, can offer residents easy access to the restaurants and night life on Highland Avenue, Walnut Street, and Ellsworth Avenue as well as close proximity to Mellon Park, the universities, and the area hospitals. This Shadyside apartment complex is just fifteen minutes from downtown Pittsburgh and features beautifully renovated units with plenty of storage and onsite laundry facilities. With properties located all around the city, Lobos Management is your go-to source for finding the perfect apartment in our country’s most livable city.
