The North Side of Pittsburgh is home to many of the most interesting and exciting attractions within the city limits, making this neighborhood a hotspot for tourists and locals alike. Two of Pittsburgh’s most compelling art museums – the Andy Warhol Museum and The Mattress Factory – bring popular culture and high culture onto the historic streets of the North Side and draw visitors from all over the world. The Warhol hosts a huge collection of the Pittsburgh artist’s original works and sponsors regular musical and theatrical performances as well as film screenings and rotating exhibits. The Mattress Factory focuses on installation art and brings a contemporary approach to blending art, culture, and politics into each of the exhibition floors. In addition to these two world renowned art museums, the North Side is also home to the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, an interactive institute where art, science, and music come to life. Visiting children can engage in one of the many exhibits, take part in studio workshops, build sailable boats, and connect with the natural elements of the museum’s outdoor garden space. In 1998, Fred Rogers aided in the creation of the Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood exhibit at the Children’s Museum which continues to spark the imaginations of old and young alike. King Friday’s Castle is located in the museum’s theater; the Neighborhood Trolley is parked in the garage; X the Owl’s Tree is hosted in the museum’s outdoor nursery, and Mr. Rogers’ sweater and sneakers are prominently displayed in the museum’s Makeshop.

With so many cultural events happening on the North Side of Pittsburgh, it has truly become one of the most desirable neighborhoods in the city. Lobos Management’s Northe Point property is just blocks away from all of the arts and activities on the North Side, but arts are not the only draw to the area. Sporting events at PNC Park and Heinz Field are only a short distance from the Northe Point apartments, fine dining and shopping are available along Western Avenue and East Ohio Street, and the historic Mexican War Streets are just blocks away.  For those interested in experiencing the best that Pittsburgh has to offer, Lobos Management’s Northe Point apartments cannot be beaten.
