The Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium and Lobos Management’s Yorkshire Apartments

Posted on: September 1, 2012

Located on seventy-seven acres of wooded parkland, The Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium houses more than four hundred species of animals and represents all of the major climates on the planet.  The African Savanna hosts elephants, lions, giraffes, springbok, rhinoceroses – everything that one would expect to see on an afternoon safari. The zoo’s Asian Forest is a draw for many curious visitors as it houses leopards, tigers, flamingos, even Komodo Dragons, bringing the wild of the Eastern world into a conveniently located city neighborhood. The North American continent is also represented in the zoo’s exhibit of American black bears, but the most exciting ursidae on the grounds is featured in the PPG Aquarium’s polar bear exhibit. Rocky caverns sit atop a large diving pool where the bears frolic and impress onlookers with their size and playfulness. All of this and much, much more is situated in Pittsburgh’s Highland Park, just a stone’s throw from the business and culture of the city’s more metropolitan neighborhoods.

Also in Highland Park is Lobos Management’s Yorkshire Apartments, a stately yet modern building that maintains the historic architecture of the neighborhood while offering all of the comforts of contemporary city living. Located at 5816 Callowhill Street, the Yorkshire building is literally just steps from the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium. For nature and animal lovers, there is no better apartment building in the city.  For more information about Lobos Management, the Yorkshire Apartments, or any of our other properties in Highland Park, please visit our website at http://www.lobosmanagement.com or track us down on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/lobosmanagement.
