Johnny Cash Day and Lobos Management’s Northe Point Apartments

Posted on: August 29, 2012

The Elk’s Lodge on Pittsburgh’s historic North Side is home to one of the most exiting annual musical events to take place in the city: Johnny Cash Day. Celebrating the life, music, and legacy of “the man in black,” Johnny Cash Day has grown from a small collection of friends into a ticketed and consistently sold-out event. Held annually on or around the day that Cash passed in 2003, the event has featured repeat performances by local Hank Williams tribute act, Slim Forsythe, the “architects of the Bloomfield sound” – the Beagle Brothers – as well as the gospel hits of the Richards Family Bible. To accompany the musical performances, food, raffles, and many door prizes are offered to all guests of the event. Just around the corner from the Elk’s Lodge is the Park House – a Middle Eastern restaurant / honky tonk where the city’s best roots and country bands perform regularly.

Also on the North Side is the Lobos Management property, Northe Point. Located at 3250 Richardson Street, the apartment complex boasts renovated kitchens, off street parking, and on-site laundry.  With the Elk’s Lodge and the Park House a short distance away, this Lobos Management property would be the perfect apartment for a fan of Johnny Cash or country music in general.
