Pedestrian Bridge Opening Soon!

Posted on: November 12, 2011

One of the greatest perks of living in Lobos Management’s many city buildings is that grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques are easily accessible without driving.  In Shadyside, Squirrel Hill, Oakland and the surrounding areas, you can easily hop on a bus or walk to many desirable destinations for shopping, eating and drinking.  The new pedestrian bridge that connects Ellsworth Avenue to the East Side shopping will only improve the accessibility in the Shadyside and East Liberty neighborhoods.  The East Side plaza currently houses Whole Foods, Starbucks, Walgreens, T-Mobile, Trek Bicycle Store, MCN Salon and more, not to mention the other fantastic restaurants and the brand new Target located on Penn Circle.  For several Lobos apartments, and for the Lobos Management office in Shadyside, this bridge is great news!  For one thing, it will eliminate the office staff at Lobos Management’s complaints about driving over to Starbucks and dealing with the terrible parking, just for a morning or mid day caffeine fix… now we will all be fighting over who gets to stroll over the new bridge to fetch the coffee!
