Try a new recipe this Thanksgiving!

Put your Lobos Management kitchen to work this year… even if you are not hosting a Thanksgiving celebration, you can still cook something up to serve your friends and family on November 24th. Here are 2 recipes that I thought were worthy of sharing.
Your guests will have no complaints about this delicious vegan recipe for Savory Swiss Chard Pie. If you are serving some carnivores, too, I suggest this as a side dish, but it is definitely tasty enough to snag the starring role of your vegetarian holiday meal; it recently got rave reviews from all my vegan friends at a potluck dinner. Here’s a link.

For those of you who want to try something different, but can’t imagine “Turkey Day” without the bird… put this spin on the traditional… I got this recipe from Keystone Country’s November/December 2011 issue. I think it would be great for leftovers, too!
Turkey BBQ
Ingredients:
14-20 pound roasted turkey
Strain drippings from the roaster turkey
1 stick of butter
2 cans cream of celery soup
1 soup can of water
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Place strained turkey drippings into a crock pot and add the butter, soup, water, and salt & pepper. Heat to a low boil.
Cut and shred both breast and dark meat; adding to crock pot. Cover and simmer for 3-6 hours on low.
Serve on Kaiser rolls.
